More Information

For thousands of years our people camped and lived on the Country, and usually ended up on the coast where the bounty of the Ocean was abundant.  When Yamatji (means the people in the Mid West of Western Australia) set up camp, they had a place for everything.  The Midden was were all of the scraps were thrown, to keep the camps free of pestilence.  The evidence of our society still exists, the Cockle Shells permeated with Pindan over thousands of years can be found in so many amazing places.
